testimonials

  • Thank you for the wonderful and informative appraisal of my home today. Your expertise and professional advice is tremendously appreciated and valued.

    Nancy G. Ellicott City, MD
  • Harrison Appraisals did an excellent job evaluating some furniture and household goods for me. Their time spent onsite examining the pieces was both professional and thorough. Although I knew a bit about the background of most items, Mr. Harrison helped by pointing out a few items that I had not flagged for appraisal as being worthy of assessing. The final report was comprehensive and, once again, very through. The methodology for evaluation and sources used were clearly cited, along with sources explaining market conditions. Very satisfied with their work.

  • Robert Harrison was contracted to appraise items from Belmont Manor in Howard County. The assignment included many different objects--including but not limited to Continental & American furniture, Japanese porcelain and fine art. The resulting appraisal report was very detailed and useful in identifying the most valuable objects in the collection for our insurance purposes. Mr. Harrison was highly professional and delightful to work with. Excellent service from beginning to end of the appraisal process.

  • Mr. Harrison possesses both professional knowledge as well as expertise while conducting historical research and market data analysis of comparable objects at the Carroll County Farm Museum. The need for a formal written appraisal at the Farm Museum was accomplished by Mr. Harrison over a 24 month period from January 2005 to July of 2006. He continues to accommodate acquisitions and donations to the Museum's collection.

  • Bob is an excellent appraiser of personal property that includes most everything except jewelry and coin items. He is a walking encyclopedia and what he doesn't know, he researches to arrive at the most accurate values for both insurance and estate markets. I have seen him at work and have recommended him to many clients of my own, all of whom gave glowing reports of his expertise and professionalism. It is a pleasure to know him and to be able to refer anyone to him and be assured that they are getting a true expert.
